Merry, Merry! As I’m typing this post, there is literal snow falling outside my window! As a Charlotte native, and now Winston-Salem resident, I can’t remember ever having had snow this early in the winter season – so it’s been an extra treat today 🙂

There is something so magical about the Christmas season, between all the lights and cozy decor, it’s such an extra special time with friends and family. This year, we have loved getting out some of our main pieces from past years, like our silver deer head, and this pre-lit garland. We’ve also been pretty pumped about adding in some of our more recent finds including the ivory and silver rug, chandelier, and these amazing tapered candles – y’all they flicker so beautifully and operate via remote control, which is super helpful when placing them in hard to reach areas! Putting everything together has been fun, and as you can see, Toby keeps trying his best to get in as many shots as possible! The faux fur pouf he’s sitting on is one of my favorite new pieces that will absolutely be out all winter (possibly all year!) long. This weekend, it will surely be put to extra use, since we were definitely not expecting to be snowed-in – but with 4 inches and counting, it’s looking like it may just be our new plan! For more holiday decor inspo, check out the latest Seasonal Centerpiece post 🙂 Hope you all are having a wonderful, happy, and warm weekend!
